Want to host a workshop, event or private session?

I would love to help make your ideas come to life!
Natural dyes and other fiber arts are a wonderful activity for any age or skill level and a way to connect with art and nature in a hands on setting. A workshop will add fun and learning to any party, retreat, classroom curriculum, community space, nature center, art center, farm, or other space you have in mind. Participants will walk away with excitement, new knowledge, and handmade pieces to remember the experience by. Workshops and events could include but aren’t limited to:
- Food scrap dyeing and kitchen-safe dyes
- Indigo dyeing
- Farm to fiber processes
- Resist dyes (tie dyes, stitched resists, clay resist, etc)
- Painting/printing on fabrics
- Weaving
- Mending, clothing upcycling
- Eco-printing
- Foraged dyes
- Fiber spinning
- Paints and pigments from plants
I also do private one-on-one sessions for people looking to do in-depth learning on specific topics or projects, such as growing and processing your own dyes and fibers, honing your dye skills, dye consultation for projects and more. I love trying out new ideas, so don’t hesitate to reach out with your proposal!
Ready to get your dye on? Send me an email at cboberg429@gmail.com describing what you have in mind, when and where, and I can consult with you about pricing and how to make your event to dye for!
I charge a minimum of $150 for private group events plus additional fees based on number of people, duration of event, materials used, and the type of workshop held, and have an hourly rate for private consultations. I normally only book events within a 1-2 hour drive or so of Providence or Boston due to travel and lodging costs, but am open to proposals all over the northeast. I am additionally looking to host reduced rate/QTBIPOC only workshops, if you feel your organization or space aligns with this goal, please reach out to me!
